I am a licensed mental health counselor whose specialties include addictive behaviors, trauma, women’s issues, relational issues, personality disorders, and mood disorders. Before starting in private practice, I worked in an agency setting helping people struggling with addictions work towards sobriety in both individual and group counseling. I've been passionate about mental health since since I can remember, and becoming a therapist has always been a clear path for me. Above all else, I find that the best experience comes from holding space for clients with unique but shared stories, as the struggles of humanness are universal.
I am committed to enacting meaningful change in individuals through mental health intervention. I find that I connect well with and am a helpful therapist for adolescents and adults of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
I received a B.A. in Psychology from Boston University, followed by a Masters of Arts and Education in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University’s Teachers College. I am also certified in Motivational Interviewing and trained in Sandtray Therapy. Additionally, I am a professional member of the American Counseling Association.
